On Oct. 17, the Quinebuag Masonic Lodge in Southbridge, was packed full of family, friends, and dignitaries from the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Massachusetts. The Most Excellent Ernest A. Bean, Grand High Priest of Massachusetts, along with his officers arrived to give two worthy local men a surprise of their life. The two men of the Southbridge Doric Chapter of Royal Arch Masons are the recipients of the Benjamin Hurd Service Medal, which is the highest honor and award given by the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Massachusetts.
